Located in the bustling heart of MOA Square, Pasay, Auro Chocolate Cafe stands as a delightful haven for chocolate lovers and casual snackers alike. This charming chocolate cafe offers a unique blend of artisanal creations, showcasing the finest beans that the Philippines has to offer while providing a cozy atmosphere that invites guests to linger, even if just for a moment.

Auro specializes in their Choc Au Lait, featuring both dark and white chocolate bases that redefine indulgence. The Classic Dark Davao, available in hot and iced servings, is a standout, providing a rich and smooth experience that beautifully balances deep cocoa flavors with a slight bitterness. Customer Eugene Eligio Velasquez praises the Single Estate Paquibato Iced Chocolate for its refreshing hints of citrus and tanginess—a perfect partner for the tropical Filipino climate, all for ₱240.

For those leaning towards a sweeter experience, the Salted Caramel White Choc Au Lait offers a delightful juxtaposition of sweet and savory, enticing your palate with its rich creaminess and a punch of flavor that has a unique twist. Pair this with the Ooey Gooey Chocolatey Caramely Tub Cake, and you’ll find your cravings perfectly satisfied for just ₱199. With vibrant flavors dancing on your tongue, you'll soon understand why visitors like Sandy Salguero are raving about the cafe's exceptional offerings.

While the cafe's setup is modest, catering primarily to a takeout crowd with limited seating, the inviting Filipino-inspired decor creates a warm atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to grab a quick treat or indulge in a leisurely dessert exploration. However, it’s important to arrive early; as customer Alexx Benecio noted, popular items tend to fly off the shelves. The friendly staff makes up for the limited options, ensuring that each visit is not only about the food but also about the welcoming service.

So whether you're in the vicinity for a quick chocolate fix or looking to explore the local scene, Auro Chocolate Cafe is your go-to destination for high-quality, bean-to-bar chocolates. Their commitment to sustainable farming, in partnership with local farmers, makes every sip and bite not just a treat but also a responsible choice. Swing by Auro Chocolate Cafe at MOA Square for an experience that’s not just sweet but meaningful.

Here’s my impression of Auro Chocolate. This brand from the Philippines offers high-quality bean-to-bar chocolates and supports sustainable farming by partnering with local farmers. They have a variety of flavors, but my 65-year-old grandfather found it a bit too sweet. Next time, I’d like to try a darker chocolate with less sweetness. I’m excited to find a chocolate that suits his taste! Still, I’m Japanese, and I really love chocolate from the Philippines.

This store is a small kiosk inside of SM Mall Of Asia, adjacent of Ikea's entrance. There is virtually no seat available, except for a table and standing table good for only about six customers. Their main staple are the chocolates, which, if I'm being honest, are on the expensive side. Does the food quality make up for the costs? I do not think so. Either way, every time I have the chance, I get my favorite: the Choco Peanut Butter Bar. Another item I do recommend are their cookies.

Auro Chocolate Café – MOA Square Single Estate Paquibato Iced Chocolate (Large – ₱240) Smooth and balanced — not too sweet, not too bitter. Hints of citrus and tanginess make this drink uniquely refreshing. Ooey Gooey Chocolatey Caramely Tub Cake (Small – ₱199) Rich caramel flavor stands out without being overwhelming. Sweet but tolerable — a small serving is just right to satisfy your dessert cravings. Balut Chocolate Egg – ₱495 On the sweeter side, this treat hides a playful surprise inside. A quirky and memorable twist on the classic “balut” — very unique and worth trying at least once. Ambiance & Seating The store is small, with limited seating — clearly designed more for take-out than dine-in. Best enjoyed as a grab-and-go indulgence.

Auro Chocolate Café at SM MOA Square is a charming little grab-and-go spot right by IKEA—perfect for a quick chocolate fix. The space is small with limited seating, but the cozy Filipino-inspired decor gives it a warm vibe. I tried their Miso Salted Caramel Choc Au Lait and Mango Float Cake, and both were amazing! The drink had a unique sweet-savory kick, and the mango cake was creamy, refreshing, and not too heavy. Pricey? A bit. But worth it for the quality and creativity. Staff were friendly, and while it’s not ideal for long stays, it’s definitely a great stop if you’re in the area and craving something indulgent and local.

Came here for some takeout! Pastries were great but I wish they had more options available? Or maybe the food sold out very quickly I just wish they had more available. We also bought some chocolate bars and those were really good too! Staff were great tho and were very helpful!

The servers were really nice and friendly. The cereal gelato was good but please don’t order the cacao iced tea. It was really bitter even after adding 2 packets of splenda. I wasn’t able to finish it. Will try their other offerings next time.
